LAW ENFORCEMENT SEEKING ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING FUGITIVE WADE LOHSE

Lafayette, La. – The U.S. Marshal’s Violent Offender Task Force has joined forces with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office in the hunt for a known violent fugitive who fled from his trial.
Wade Lohse is wanted by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office after he walked out of his trial March 25. Lohse is currently facing the following charges: vehicular homicide, felon in possession of a firearm and simple burglary.
Lohse has a criminal history dating back 25 years. He has been convicted of the following offenses: burglary, carrying a prohibited weapon, aggravated assault on police, weapons violation and carjacking all in New Jersey. He has also been convicted for burglary in Pennsylvania, and a felon in possession of a firearm in New Orleans. Lohse has had a number of other violent arrests that did not result in conviction.
Lohse, 43, is a white male who is 5’11" tall and weighs 210 pounds. Law enforcement officers consider Lohse to be armed and dangerous.
