The annual City/Parish online delinquent property tax lien auction is set for Wednesday, June 10th, 2026 beginning at 9am and continuing through Thursday, June 11th, 2026 with the auction ending at 12 noon June 11th, 2026. Tax lien auction registration and online viewing of delinquent properties will be available starting 10am Monday, May 18th, 2026. The registration process will end 3pm Friday, June 5th, 2026. All payments for tax lien certificates are due at end of auction Thursday, June 11th, 2026. Only form of payment accepted will be ACH Withdrawal.
For the City of Lafayette, tax lien auction payments for tax lien certificates are due at end of auction Thursday, June 11th, 2026. Only form of payment accepted will be ACH Withdrawal. The City of Lafayette Tax Office is located at 1875 W. Pinhook Rd Suite-B Lafayette, LA 70508. Their office number is 337-291-8272 and Rachel Hebert is the tax auction contact person. The office hours for the City of Lafayette’s Tax Office are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday thru Friday.
The delinquent advertisement will run late in the local paper, The Daily Advertiser, Sunday, May 24, 2026. Payments for delinquent taxes will be accepted through the close of the business day Tuesday, June 9th, 2026. May 25th, 2026 through June 9th, 2026, Cash, Money Order or Certified Check will be the only forms of payment accepted for delinquent taxes. Online payments will be accepted until 4:30pm on June 5, 2026.
