Make a Payment
When paying traffic tickets, bringing the ticket or a copy to the cashier will greatly expedite the process. Traffic tickets that have not yet been to court must be paid in full prior to the due date found near the bottom of the ticket.
Inmates are allowed to maintain a commissary account while incarcerated. This money may be used for purchasing snacks, toiletries, personal hygiene items, etc.
The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office Web Tax Site offers the community the capability to view and/or pay their taxes online. You can pay your taxes with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover credit cards.
A key area of responsibility for the Civil Division is seizure and sale of property. Civil sales of both movable and immovable property occur every Wednesday morning (excluding holidays).

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office offers an online payment system for the community to pay their invoices for services rendered by the agency. These invoices are mailed directly to the responsible guarantor. A convenience fee of 2.75% is charged by Value Payment Systems for credit and debit card transactions, with a minimum fee of $2.00. Accepted cards include Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
