Major Blake Soileau, Administrative Services Commander
Administrative Services Commander Major Blake Soileau began his career with the Louisiana Department of Public Safety while attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Major Soileau served in various capacities including patrol, forensics, intelligence, and human resources.
In 2022, Major Soileau obtained both SHRM-CP and HRCI PHR certifications (Society of Human Resources Certified Professional and Human Resources Certification Institute Professional in Human Resources) In 2025, Major Soileau was selected and attended the 293rd session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA, earning a graduate certificate in public safety from the University of Virginia.
The Administrative Services Division plays a vital role for the agency, composed of Human Resources, Finance, Tax, Information Systems, the Civil Department, and Bailiffs.
